I want to popularize the authentic flavors of the world in Japan! This is the desire that I always hold close to myself. Thanks to everyone, 16 years have now passed since I set up this company by myself. I will never forget the times when I was supported by my customers and work partners. The modern era is one in which a wide variety of information flies around in real-time and one in which the speed of business is also leaping forward at a remarkable pace. I previously felt there was a lag in decision-making and communication with management and on-site sales personnel. Therefore, taking into account the need to eliminate the disparity in knowledge between top management and on-site sales personnel, I changed our firm to a network-based corporate structure in 2016. We will increase the speed of business to the greatest possible extent by staying alert and sharing information collection and decision-making in our employee network with discretionary powers given to each department. This will include information on products that look attractive to food & drink establishments and information on the latest trends by leveraging the advantages of the information dissemination center that is Harajuku in Tokyo. We place great emphasis on our partner relationships that win trust from our customers in light of the meaning of the words set out by our firm. I myself also make the effort to go to the frontline of sales and carry out proposal-based sales activities that take into account regional characteristics from the point of view of our customers. I plan to keep on taking on challenges in all fields in the future. We may still be a small company, but all our employees come to together as one to work their hardest every day as sales professionals, so I ask for your further continued support in the future.

Brief career history

Joined Tokyo Kaikan K.K. in 1988. Gained experience in customer service, French cuisine and cocktails in the Banquet Department. After this, transferred to Kuji Food Company in 1990 and held key positions such as Mass Marketer Sales Department Manager. Transferred to AAC, Ltd. – a wholesaler of Western liquors and imported foods in Minami Aoyama – in 1988 and held key positions such as Managing Director. Opened Ricki Store as an individual in 2000 and still runs the company to this day.
